Bob the Bunny

Bob the Bunny

by Leon Nisnevich

Bob the bunny was hanging out at his favorite spot by the river. As he was enjoying the cool breeze by the water an unusually slender bear approached the bunny slowly. The bear asked the bunny how he was doing and whether he had five minutes to help out a fellow creature in need. The bear explained to Bob that he suffered from a debilitating parasite that sucked out all the food from his stomach. The bear told Bob that the only way to get the parasite out was to go into his stomach and remove it. Bob was the only person bear knew that was small enough to climb in and take it out. Judging from the skinniness of the bear, Bob thought his story made sense. Bob thought he was doing the bear a kindness and obliged. The bear ate him as soon he went into his mouth. Turns out the bear had no parasite at all, and was simply looking for a quick cheap meal.

Moral: never a judge anyone by their looks, no matter what they tell you.
