The Wolf Pack

There once was a pack of wolves that were led by Lycaon, the son of the previous alpha males. He was known for being prideful and the pack worried that his personality would lead them to disaster. One day, as they scavenged for food, a loud roar was heard. It came from a humongous grizzly bear. In the heat of the moment, while the other wolves panicked, Lycaon proudly stepped forward and exclaimed, "I can take care of this son of a bear!" Suddenly, the youngest wolf Fenrir came forward and tried to convince the alpha male that together, rather than alone , they could fight the grizzly bear. But being the asshole that he is, Lycaon yelled, "Fuck that" and charged at the bear. With a swipe of his mighty claw, Lycaon was annihilated, his bloody corpse taunting the rest of the pack. Fenrir
said "I told you so," in unison they acknowledged that only in working together they can take down the threat. Together they took down the threat and buried Lycaon, marking pride can get the best of you.

Moral: The lesson of the fable is that pride can spark one's own demise, from being too proud they can breed sad sorrows for themselves in addition by working together you can overcome any obstacles that is presented in front of you. " A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link"
